51 paid minus refunds = how many sold now then?
    People must be feeling ‘uneasy’?

I cannot blame them, it was never going to happen, firstly it was announced far too early, you just cannot offer a deal at a very large cost when you do not actually own the object, and to compound the issue even more, the present time acual owner is no other Peter Swann given his record of the word “truth”.

If I am correct, wasn’t the package in question for the ground and training pitch land etc??, even if it wasn’t, the fact tremains that Swann is still the owner of what ever, it appears like this 1899 idea is to raise money needed to pay Swann and it appears that the land is earmarked for a different project, and what a stupid idea for the daily training to be carried out in Derbyshire.

Although it was great when Mr Hilton saved our club from certain extinction, and an extra 1,200 fans are now turning up for him, is it really still going to be Scunthorpe United ??, and with us now going to be in the sixth level of football, how much longer can the club maintain over 3,000 loyal followers, and given the effortless shite they are serving up what is the atraction for the continual suffering for them??

To start to sell this 1899 share gig and then announce the staff seal clubbing and move day to day operations and training away from GP to Ilkeston is scandalous a disgrace and IMO all 51 should be refunded in full.
What about anyone paying for a season ticket already .. will they receive the same match day experience? and if in the future any fixtures are played at ILk will season ticket holders be reimbursed travel expenses as im sure if they knew of this announcement prior to paying if may of made a difference .

The timing all stinks .. the handling of everything including signings , fan updates and even how Nelson found out JD was in the building reeks of a total shambles..

WHEN WILL THIS SHIT END ????

The 1899 scheme came out too quick. It had been well thought through and basically the fans were paying off the owner. The person responsible for the clubs demise got rumbled.

The jigsaw is falling in to place now.
    Someone might say / think:
As cunning as one of Baldrick’s own cunning plans!
No one was interested in buying it lock stock & barrel. Or / and didn’t have the funds to do so.
Give the fans what they want, to own the ground (1899).
The owner of the club runs the club as a camouflage operation until all the land is sold off.
Minimising costs by utilising his mates facilities at Ilkeston and bringing in 💩 players on I’m guessing poor wages?
Ultimately the last plot of land to go will be the pitch & stadium.

    Alternatively, some will say:
“Best thing to happen to the club since we had running water and an indoor lav”

They’ll be no refunds unless he decides to close it,from his interview that won’t be the case, he intends in winning a lot of the prizes offer in the monthly draw. You cant expect to get refunds on something you’ve already used, they can be sold on though I will happily pay 500 pounds so long as they have the one pound share certificate to go with it ( I will pay the transfer fees).

I don’t know. If you buy a toaster from Curry’s, then you can probably take it back.
Not sure on something like this. I’d be taking my Torquay ticket back if it was that easy !
You wouldn’t buy a house without a survey or a business without some legal and accounting advice. With this 1899 thing what does it even come under ? A club, a lottery, a 999 year timeshare ? I don’t know.
As I understand it, GP still belongs to Swanns company, Hilton is buying it and has set up the 1899 club to own the stadium once he has separated off the surrounding land in order to sell it, so what has anyone whose paid £1899 actually bought ?
    There’s more questions than answers.

They’ve bought nothing tangible, said before just a gift to the town once 51% are bought, more like a charity gift and I know lots of you are big on charities aren’t we 64.

I emailed the club stating my interest in 1899.
I ask if they could let me know when the transaction/companies house details were change from one owner to another.

Guess I will be waiting sometime.

Tbh it gets worse by the day.

    What’s Actually left?
