August 3, 2023 at 11:28 am #268120MR David won

Not been verified whether they’ve been paid yet or not

i was just being naughty DM …. im sure if the salaries have NOT been paid this news would have filtered out by now , saying that he titbit re Ogle actually really really wanting to go to Oldham has been kept well hidden hasnt it.
BTW your 0-0 for Tamworth wont be far off
August 3, 2023 at 12:14 pm #268129Would have been nice for those trusting souls who parted with their cash to at least have been kept in the loop..Just an email notifying them of the result would have been nice!..Maybe DH can enlighten me on Facebook?
August 3, 2023 at 12:31 pm #268140I didnt get an email ,did you not get an email LMI ?? .. if like me you didnt buy a share how do you know that anyone that did has not received such an email?
August 3, 2023 at 12:36 pm #268143I am sure I read somewhere that the first draw had been delayed but can’t find it now.
August 3, 2023 at 12:46 pm #268147I didn’t buy a share but my mate did and has heard nothing
August 3, 2023 at 12:54 pm #268148Bearing in mind DH held circa 98% of the draw tickets image the uproar announcing he had won every prize..
I do agree though the people that bought a share should have been informed re any draw result or delay as SST suggested may be the case.
August 3, 2023 at 2:29 pm #268152Since the promotion of the scheme and the comments that DH made regarding it, I always got the impression he thought supporters should be more focused on the philanthropic nature of the transaction rather than delivery of the listed benefits. Just my take on it.

August 3, 2023 at 2:30 pm #268153That’s not a defence or aspersion casting btw
August 3, 2023 at 2:42 pm #268155I assumed it was a way of raising the funds to pay for the stadium and surrounding land that failed spectacularly.

August 3, 2023 at 3:12 pm #268156Hopefully it will be revisited at some time, to get the ground away from one owner should be the long time aim of most.
August 10, 2023 at 11:25 pm #268992Still no communication regarding the 1899 club draw!..Guess the £100,000 long gone..Not fair when people have parted with nearly £2,000 and hear absolutely nothing!
August 11, 2023 at 7:17 am #268994We’re not a league club anymore. When will people realise we can’t do things as professionally anymore? Fans need to suck it up and stop moaning about everything.

Hilton offered to sell something he didn’t own. Caveat Emptor.

No arguing with that statement
August 11, 2023 at 12:22 pm #269030If you’ve paid for something on the premise of being entered into a prize draw which then never materialises, surely the Gambling Commission may have something to say about that?

August 11, 2023 at 1:21 pm #269041I’ve got over a grand’s worth of Premium Bonds but every month I get a message saying “sorry no luck this month!”
Maybe Hilton should be nicknamed “Ernie” too?

Not to mention the Advertising Standards Agency.

Musical chairs anyone?August 11, 2023 at 5:19 pm #269078Rumour on the terrace at Tamworth was that Guiseley is the stadium fallback option, not Gainsborough.

That one has been doing the rounds for a little while.
August 11, 2023 at 7:10 pm #269089That’s a new one on me.
August 11, 2023 at 7:34 pm #269093About the same distance and travel time as Ilkeston. Surely there is a closer option with decent transport links. Doncaster would do nicely.
August 11, 2023 at 7:37 pm #269095I think the hint is the word rumour.
