What I would like to know is if there is any truth in what I read about post-code lotteries and north/south divides.
If certain areas are offering choices and others aren’t I’d be interested to know about it.
I was vaccinated at my local surgery which just happens to be the hub for the West of Northumberland. Friends and family who are registered with smaller practices have had to go online to book an appointment. They have been presented with locations as diverse as Stockton on Tees, Kendal and Brighton!
If certain centres are offering a choice and others aren’t then it becomes somewhat of a lottery. All correspondence I have seen has categorically said there will be no choice, and that the centres do not know from week to week which vaccine they will be supplied with and how many units.
Not saying you’re lying Bucks, but if there are centres offering a choice it would be interesting to know where they are.
