Given you’re over 60 I’d be very surprised if you hadn’t had your first jab before the blood clot scare started. And if you’re refering to your second jab then you’d have been given the same one in any case. I had the AZ jab after the scare started but of course that was my choice. As much as I hope people get vaccinated if they have the chance to, I still respect someone’s right not to have it. Otherwise it may aswell be compulsory. I wouldn’t claim I know whether or not the AZ vaccine is safe (we have to trust it is and time will tell) and I certainly wouldn’t suggest anyone opt for one vaccine make over the other. It’s not a competition.
