I don’t think taking a global perspective rather than a national one regarding vaccinations is ‘virtue signalling’. Tired of hearing that catch all term that dismisses any interests in helping others in a charitable way. I read this a while ago and it sums it up well:

I would also point out that there are other factors involved in preventing countries developing wealth aside from corrupt regimes, and of course each country has unique conditions and circumstances. Citing corruption and no other factors isn’t showing the whole picture and distorts perspective on the issue.
