He makes me angry and he has history of doing that with other posters. I’ve listed the names he has called me. I very much welcome your opinion BRI. I would just like to point out that he repeatedly calls me a sad individual, pathetic etc. well before I made the comment that has upset him. He clearly does not understand or acknowledge that the way he posts is very annoying. It’s not as if he hasn’t been told is it ?
I agree that his posting style and dismissals of others can be irritating. He has done with me in the past. I still curl my lip at the arguments about his mental health and find them below the belt.
This is what I mean by a feedback loop. He irritates you with such glib dismissals and lack of respect and you get back at him and it becomes tit for tat, and I have been guilty of this too.
I am not sure what the way out of it is, but I must admit I am getting fed up of engaging in what is less about debate and more of a personal battle. It becomes impossible to debate when it’s all about Bucks or when he just dismisses arguments as inherently bitter, about hating the UK or whatever.
Gurnelista and Bucks both like to provoke and it becomes less about the points and more about egos, and I am sure I have let mine show too often.
