BI, over and over again we hear about your wretched depression, when the only one who brings it up is yourself.
And now we witness the longest sick note in history being offered to members of the Board, a sort of ‘greatest hits’ compilation of all the others, together with a few out-takes and filler (strangely minus the ‘biggie’ of NPD).
However, members are not here to listen to your self-flagellation as you morbidly parade your excuses. Nor are we here to offer medical advice, although a so-called ‘popular’ view is that it is not good for one’s mental health to spend so many hours on the internet each day, particularly when it leads to conflict.
No, especially after 10 years of the Tories, Brexit, Trump and Boris, you have every reason to be dancing in the streets of Buckinghamshire. It has all come up trumps, so to speak, and you can be the happiest soul on IB, if only you want to be.
So, it really is time you took some personal responsibility and looked in the mirror. Instead of shirking and depending on others, gratuitously expecting preferential treatment, demanding careful use of so-called ‘woke’ language, and hoping for an ‘understanding’ of your putative ‘disadvantage’, you should stand alone on your own two feet, pull up your socks, and show the kind of common sense and can-do spirit which made this country great.
And nobody knows that better than yourself, BI. It’s all about the individual. This is the self-preservation society. God bless Mrs T.
