Stampy, from what I’ve read he can play other positions but primarily plays no 10 role which is why he scored a hat trick the week before for forest u23’s. I think he played in the that role for Port Vale as well.
You have got to be joking surely ?. Cox is scared to death of playing with out and out wingers with two conservative CM players. I think putting a more attack minded CM next to Spence will result in Cox having a panic attack.
What we think we need and what Cox seems to think we need are two entirely different things.
The reason why no balls are going into the box is because Cox wants to play central with two tucked in wingers and one striker upfront…hence why we’re struggling to get shots on target.
