Russia has long sought to destabilize the EU, which it would like to see fail. Why? Because its unity is a threat to Russia’s commercial and political power in the world.
The Russia Report shows there was substantial interference into Brexit. The use of the ‘soft’ power of social media to spread lies about the EU and immigration, and to target those who were open to suggestion on Facebook and elsewhere, with stories such as the one about accordion players getting EU grants to repair their bellows, is now confirmed.
And it’s not just the Putin who codded voters into thinking Britain would be better off outside the EU.
Another foreigner who has long meddled in British politics, egged them on to do exactly the same – Rupert Murdoch.
This country, and in particular the ordinary working people of towns like Scun., have been well and truly screwed up thanks to massive foreign influence by genuinely unelected powers.
And the same ‘patriots’ who fell victim to this sort of propaganda by the Russians and by Murdoch, consistently despise foreign interference in British affairs!
