Colclough was suspended by Scunthorpe after being charged with assaulting a police officer following an incident at a Taco Bell drive-through in June and subsequently released last month.

The Stoke-born attacker, 25,denies the charge and entered a plea of not guilty at Doncaster Magistrates, with the case adjourned until March.

He will be with the Robins until the New Year and cannot join another EFL club until the transfer window opens in January, linking up with Iron winger Andy Dales, who is currently on loan at Moss Lane.
